Umair is a pioneering professional with 15 years of experience in the digital marketing industry. Umair shaped the digital strategy for Wijeya Newspapers during his tenure of 11 years. He specializes in concepts such as Programmatic Advertising, Social Listening and Digital PR. He currently represents Facebook in Sri Lanka as the Authorized Sales Partner at Roar Global where he works with brands to provide strategic consultation on Facebook’s Family of apps. He is also the co-founder of Newswire. Umair is a Chartered Marketer (13/14), MCIM (UK) and holds an MBA (UK). Umair is also a lecturer and corporate speaker on digital media related topics.
Shehan has over 18 years of experience in Digital Marketing and is the Managing Director of Loops Integrated, an advertising agency based in Sri Lanka which has offices in Malaysia, Qatar, Japan and Australia. He holds a BSc in Business Management, Masters in IT and is a Chartered Marketer (UK). He is very involved in multiple companies in the Digital and Media space, especially nurturing startup companies to grow and expand.
Arjun holds an MBA and BSc in Communications, specialized in Marketing and Advertising. He has worked as a Digital Marketing Specialist for leading media institutions in Sri Lanka. Arjun started his professional career in India in 2008 when digital marketing was a new phenomenon. He is currently the co-founder of one of Sri Lanka’s award-winning digital content solutions providers, Digital Content (Pvt) Ltd. He also serves as a director at Sri Lanka’s first Influencer Marketing Agency, Dice Lanka, and a director at Digital Writers, Jasmin Media and Arc Digital SL (Pvt) Ltd.
Gayathri holds just over a decade of experience in fields of Digital Marketing, Online Branding and Communications Strategy, eCommerce and Online Revenue Optimization. She is professionally a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (MCIM) and is a certified Google Partner. She holds a Master of Business Administration from Staffordshire University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Computing and Information Systems by the University of Wales. Gayathri currently works for a global travel technology company, focused on revenue optimization and online distribution strategies for some of the region’s largest hotel chains and independent properties.
Lalinda is an entrepreneur with over 20 years of collective experience as a corporate professional and a successful entrepreneur. His experience ranges from operational to strategic level in Sales, Marketing, Administration and Corporate Strategizing disciplines in Digital Marketing, Tourism, IT, Education and Telecommunication sectors. He holds an MBA from the Postgraduate Institute of Management (PIM-USJ), BSc (IT) from University of Keele (UK) and a Degree in IT from the University of Colombo. He has also obtained several professional qualifications. He is currently reading for his PhD and is the founder of a boutique digital marketing agency.
Amitha is a Digital Marketing professional based in Colombo, Sri Lanka with more than 15 years of experience in eMarketing, eCommerce, social media marketing and performance marketing. Amitha plays an active role in disseminating digital marketing knowledge among young students of marketing in Sri Lanka as a visiting lecturer and lead trainer. He is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of the Asia Pacific Institute of Digital Marketing. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from University of Sri Jayewardenepura and a Master of Business Administration from the Postgraduate Institute of Management (PIM). He also is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (MCIM).
Prasad is an award-winning digital marketing consultant and strategist based in Sri Lanka. His knowledge and understanding of the digital landscape have benefited a diverse mix of clients from Government institutions, private sector companies to start-ups and NGOs. He has helped to improve digital skills training across the country, especially among Journalists. He has received many International awards for his digital empowerment activities; in 2020, he received an honorary title for his tireless efforts to minimize the digital gap in Sri Lanka
Niranka is currently the Chairman and CEO of Antyra Solutions, an Integrated Digital Agency. With 18 years’ experience in eCommerce, digital strategy, and business development, he has worked with over 300 brands globally. Recognized as among the ’20 Best Digital Marketing Professionals’ in the world at the World Marketing Summit 2013, Niranka is a Chartered IT Professional with a Master’s in Business Administration

Shalendra started his career in a digital video start-up based in London, returning to Sri Lanka in 2013 to work at a pioneering e-commerce firm. From there, he transitioned to life at digital agencies in 2015 when he joined GroupM. He led the Unilever digital team spearheading their digital acceleration for 3 years and went on to leading the entire digital arm for GroupM from late 2018. Under his leadership GroupM manages one of the largest digital client portfolios in the country and maintains an unparalleled global award-winning track record.
With over three decades of experience across multiple industries, including both agency and client side, Sanjini is a seasoned professional, well-versed in FMCG, Telco, Technology, BFSI, Travel, Retail and Manufacturing industries both locally and globally. She is currently the Country Director of ADA in Sri Lanka, leading a team of energetic young professionals with a vision to deliver the future of marketing by combining the best of data science, technology, creativity, and content to deliver stellar results. One of her main passions is yoga, as she enjoys both the physical and mental relaxation of the exercise.
Gazzaly is a national award-winning digital marketing expert with over a decade of experience. He has worked with more than 50 international and local brands. Currently, he heads the Digital Marketing division at Dialog Axiata PLC. Prior to this position, Gazzaly was a Senior Manager at Loops Digital – Digital Marketing. Gazzaly is also a visiting lecturer at the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing. He’s been instrumental in upskilling and training countless students and marketers on digital marketing and how to translate their marketing messages across multiple digital platforms and online communities
Infas is a passionate Digital Marketer with 12+ years of experience in the industry, he started his career with an agency background working for UK based firm BQu and then Ogilvy Sri Lanka, Infas is currently working for Swedish based company Saltside as the group CMO, Saltside owns and operates classifieds and eCommerce businesses in emerging markets including ikman.lk in Sri Lanka and Bikroy.com in Bangladesh. Infas has a global exposure he has travelled & worked in multiple markets such as UAE, Nigeria, Ghana, Bangladesh he has also participated in various digital marketing events across the world, he has won awards in international media competitions representing Sri Lanka. Infas specialises in the areas of Performance Marketing, SEO, Measurement & Analytics. He loves sharing his knowledge and inspiring young talents to join the digital world, he is also a consultant, a part time lecturer at APIDM.
With over 18+ years of experience in the telecommunication industry out of which 12+ years in Digital Marketing, Jaque Perera’s professional acumen spans across numerous categories including, developing strategies with data-driven analytics and Digitalization of businesses. Having built his progressive career at SLT-MOBITEL, Jaque’s rise to industry prominence is synonymous with SLT-MOBITEL’s leadership in the local telecommunication industry. Jaque currently heads the digital marketing unit at SLT-Mobitel and has been driving the organization’s digital transformation process. Jaque is an active member of key digital marketing bodies in Sri Lanka and has participated at various committees and panels including Rakuten Viber Sri Lanka Conference 2020; a Jury member for the SLIM DIGI Awards 2020 and 2021 and served as a Guest Lecturer at the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM). He has been instrumental in shaping the overall digital marketing landscape with number of digital initiatives in Sri Lanka. Jaque holds a Master’s degree in business management from Anglia Ruskin University (UK) and Pre-Master’s in Advertising from the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI).
His 21-year experience spans across Advertising, Marketing and Digital in international and local markets. He is the Founding CEO, Altered Experience Pvt. Ltd (ALT X). On a constant mission to create groundbreaking innovations using design thinking, he has developed and deployed digital marketing solutions, business design for leading brands, built and deployed ad tech, data & AI driven solutions for marketing & innovation based on design thinking principles. In addition to stints with international agency networks such as FCB, JWT and BBDO Kabeer also explored the other side of fence with marketing roles in Sri Lanka, Africa and the Middle East. He considers breaking a world record using social media and being trained with the innovation engine at 3M as the key highlights of his career (so far). He is also an active member of the faculty of Miami Ad School. He currently heads the international award-winning team at ALT X, a design thinking and digital consultancy specializing in developing Sustainability based digital and technology solutions.
